JATL Visits Intertek’s Laboratory in Plano, Texas

June 2017

10HP Multi-Air Conditioner Testing at Intertek’s Plano Laboratory (*1)

At Intertek’s laboratory in Plano, Texas, U.S.A. (air enthalpy 15-ton testing room: equivalent to JATL’s PAC2), tests were conducted set in three conditions, rated cooling, high temperature heating and low temperature heating, for the purpose of carrying out reciprocity calibration with PAC2. Good results were obtained from all of the tests where a deviation of less than ±3% was found between the testing facilities with respect to PAC2. These results will be utilized during the JAB surveillance audit to be conducted this year.
